Arthur's Rock is a climbing area in Lory State Park in Colorado, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with several boulders and a route called Snake and the Skewer all within about a tenth of a mile. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 56°F, while winter highs stay around 40°F. That station sits about 1,100 feet lower than the park, so temperatures at the climbing area run cooler. The closest neighbors are the Warm-Up Boulder and Drunken Master Boulder, both about 0.1 mile away, and the Westridge Trail for mountain biking, about 0.2 mile off. The Cache la Poudre River, about 5 miles away, offers canoeing.
