Creek is a short mountain biking route in the Dillon Ranger District of White River National Forest in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits about half a mile from the town of Dillon, and the whole trip is under a mile long. The route starts at about 9,244 feet and climbs to about 9,395 feet, a total gain of 133 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.35 miles in, with a grade of about 9 percent. The route also has a small loss of about 205 feet, so it's a short, low-elevation ride that works well as a warm-up or a break between longer outings. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Dillon show July highs around 75°F with lows near 38°F, while winter highs stay around freezing. The Crosscut and Teva trails are both about 0.2 miles away. Old Dillon Reservoir #87 is about 0.9 miles off, and Heaton Bay Campground is about a mile away.
