Silver Jack Shoreline is a 1.2-mile out-and-back hike in the Ouray Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated hard, and the climb is short, with a one-way gain of 58 feet from a low point of about 8,928 feet to a high of about 9,004 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows horses, but not bikes. It is not an accessible trail. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Lake City show July highs around 77°F with lows near 44°F, while winter highs stay around 31°F. Jackson Guard Station campground is about 0.4 miles away, and the Jackson mountain biking area is about 0.5 miles off. Alpine Trail 225 is about 0.7 miles away, and Cimarron Forks Camping Area is about 1.1 miles away.
