Columbine Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Ouray Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado. It sits among a cluster of trails, with Monitor Mesa Trail just 0.2 miles away. Vault toilets are the campsite's only listed amenity. The Forest Service manages the land, and the site works as a base for exploring the surrounding network of hiking routes. Monitor Mesa Trail is the closest option, and Tabeguache (25 Mesa) and Indian Trail are both within about 3.5 miles. Mountain bikers can head to the Tabeguache trail, roughly 4.8 miles away.
