Mission Peak Regional Preserve is a park managed by the East Bay Regional Park District, about 3.6 miles from Fremont, California. It serves as a base for several short trails, with the Mission Peak to Monument Peak Trail starting just 0.3 miles away. The preserve works well as a hub for a day of hiking. The Eagle Loop Trail and Peak Meadow Trail are both within a mile, and the Mission Peak to Monument Peak Trail is the closest of the lot. For paddlers, Alameda Creek is about 2.5 miles off, and climbers can head to Indian Joe Caves, roughly 3.5 miles away.
