The Witch is a traditional climbing area in California's Sequoia National Forest, within the Western Divide Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the surrounding land, and the Witch sits among a cluster of climbing areas, with The Sorcerer and The Warlock each about 0.1 mile away. Twenty routes make up the Witch, all of them trad, with grades ranging from 5.9 to 5.12+. Typical YDS averages run from 5.9 at the easiest to 5.12+ at the hardest.
