The Fun Factory is a climbing area in California, sitting about 0.2 miles from the town of Ormand. It's a small cluster of sport and trad routes, with a mix of grades from 5.7 up to 5.11a. The area's name is its own, and it makes a convenient base for climbing in the surrounding cluster of boulders and crags. The most comfortable stretch for a visit runs from late spring into early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Riverside show May highs around 80°F and October highs near 82°F, with only a couple of wet days in each month. Summer is hotter, with August highs averaging about 97°F. The Fun Factory's own routes include Fun Factory (5.7, trad) and Mass Production (5.10a, sport), both with first ascents by Louie Anderson in 2011. Union Man (5.11a, sport) is the hardest route listed. Agony Arch Area is just 0.1 mile away and Rubble Row is 0.3 mile away, so the area is easy to expand into.
