More Water, Less Power Boulder is a bouldering area on Bureau of Land Management land in the Bishop Field Office of California, about 6 miles from Bishop. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Heavenly Path Boulder and Solarium Boulder each about 0.1 mile away, and Happy Boulders Trail about 0.3 mile off. The area has 13 bouldering routes, all rated on the V scale from V0+ to V5+. The hardest is "More Water Less Power" at V5+, and the easiest include "Any Which Way" and "Happy Hooker" at V0+. "Swing Your Partner" is V1, and "Corporation Pop" is V3. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bishop show April highs around 74°F and October highs around 78°F, while July averages near 100°F. Pleasant Valley Pit Campground is about 3.5 miles away, and South Fork Bishop Creek, a paddling spot, is about 4 miles off.
