Happy Boulders is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land in the Bishop Field Office, about 6 miles from Bishop, California. It sits among a cluster of bouldering spots, with Shadow Play Boulder and the Sixty Foot Woman/Shadow Play Area each about 0.1 mile away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bishop show April highs around 74°F and October highs around 78°F, while July averages near 100°F. The Happy Boulders Trail starts about 0.3 mile away. For an overnight stay, Pleasant Valley Pit Campground is about 3.5 miles off, and South Fork Bishop Creek offers paddling about 4 miles away.
