Ice Cream Boulders is a bouldering area in the Mono Lake Ranger District of Inyo National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of other bouldering spots, with Power Boulder and Slab Boulder each about 0.1 mile away, and Boulder with a View at the same distance. The closest campground is Oh Ridge, about 0.4 mile off. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically July and August, when typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mammoth Lakes run to highs around 78°F and lows near 49°F. That station sits at a similar elevation to the boulders, so its figures are a fair guide to what to expect here. The area has one route, Waffle Cone, a boulder problem graded V4. It's a single boulder, so plan on a short session rather than a full day of climbing.
