Frontier Wall is a climbing area in Joshua Tree National Park, within the Joshua Tree Wilderness in California. The National Park Service manages the land. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Yucca Valley put April highs around 73°F and October highs near 80°F, while July and August average highs of about 96°F. A fee is charged for climbing at this spot. Several other climbing areas sit close by, including Queen Mountain and Underground, The, each within about a mile. The Queen Valley Trail is about 1.5 miles away for a hike. Sheep Pass Group campground is roughly 3.7 miles off.
