B-52 Rock is a climbing area in Joshua Tree National Park in California, managed by the National Park Service. The park charges a fee for access, so plan for that before you go. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Yucca Valley show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 80°F. That station sits roughly 950 feet lower than the rock, so temperatures up top run cooler. Reggie Dome and the Wonderland of Rocks North Bouldering lie just 0.1 mile away, and the Hippodrome Area is about 0.4 mile off. For a hike, the Boy Scout Trailhead is roughly half a mile away.
