Raven is a mountain biking route in the High Sierra Ranger District of Sierra National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. The trail lies within the forest's High Sierra district, about 2.9 miles long, with a total climb of 406 feet from a low point of 7,277 feet to a high of 7,642 feet. It is a short, low-elevation ride, making it a natural add-on to other outings in the area. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Huntington Lake weather station show July and August highs around 74°F with lows near 49°F and only one or two wet days a month. That station sits about 620 feet lower than the route's high point, so temperatures on the trail run cooler. Porcupine, a cross-country ski area, is just 0.1 mile away, and the Meadow mountain biking trailhead is 0.4 mile off. Climbers can reach Camp 72 and the Sloth Area, both about 2.3 miles away.
