Huntington Shore is a mountain biking route in the High Sierra Ranger District of Sierra National Forest in California, about 2.7 miles long and managed by the Forest Service. It starts at roughly 6,955 feet and climbs to about 7,053 feet, a total gain of 194 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Huntington Lake, at a similar elevation, show July and August highs around 74°F with lows near 49°F and only one or two wet days a month. Winters are cold, with January highs around 43°F and lows near 24°F. Catavee and Kinnikinnick campgrounds are both within a mile, and the Big Creek mountain biking route and the Kaiser Loop hike are each about 1.1 miles away.
