Weiser Creek is an 8-mile out-and-back hike in the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness, part of the Calaveras Ranger District of Stanislaus National Forest in California. The trail starts at about 7,125 feet and climbs to about 8,656 feet, so it is a hard hike with a one-way gain of 1,592 feet. The Forest Service manages the surrounding land, and the trail is designated for horses and has a natural surface. Bikes are not allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the Dagget Pass weather station, about 37 miles away and roughly 1,300 feet lower, show July highs around 75°F with lows near 49°F. Winter there is cold, with highs in the mid-30s and lows around 23°F. Woods Gulch is 1.3 miles away and Dardanelle Creek is 2.2 miles away. For an overnight stay, Highland Lakes campground is 4.2 miles away and Clark Fork Campground is 4.8 miles away.
