The Tule River hike is a 10.2-mile out-and-back trail in the Western Divide Ranger District of Sequoia National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. The route rises from about 1,840 feet to about 3,670 feet, with a total elevation gain of 1,984 feet, and is rated hard. The trail is on natural surface, and bikes are allowed. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from the nearby Glennville weather station show May highs around 72°F and October highs around 73°F, while July and August average about 89°F. Wishon Campground is about 1.3 miles away and White River Campground about 1.9 miles. The Jacobson hike is about 3.2 miles off, and the Middle Fork Tule River, a canoeing route, is about 5 miles away.
