Hunter Creek is a 1.5-mile out-and-back hike in the Mi-Wok Ranger District of Stanislaus National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises about 840 feet from a low point of 2,742 feet to a high of 3,511 feet. The route is rated easy and has a natural surface. Bikes and horses are both allowed, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Groveland show May highs around 73°F and October highs around 74°F, while July and August average about 91°F. Rogge Trail is about a mile away, and Hunter Cr. Overlook is roughly 1.8 miles off. Ralph Ranch is about 2.5 miles away, and Hacienda campground is about 4.7 miles away.
