Hallelujah Tie is a short, easy out-and-back hike in California's Tahoe National Forest, within the Yuba River Ranger District. The trail is about a mile long, with a total elevation gain of 149 feet, and it rises from roughly 4,000 feet to about 4,200 feet. The route is natural-surface and open to both horses and bikes. It is not an accessible trail, so plan on a foot-based outing. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Blue Canyon show July highs around 78°F with lows near 63°F and only about one wet day in the month. That station sits roughly 1,100 feet higher than the trail, so temperatures on the hike run a little warmer. The Hallelujah hike starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Rocky Pioneer Trail is under a mile off. White Cloud campground is about a mile away, and the South Yuba River offers paddling about 2 miles from the trail.
