Elk Cr.-Sulph. Sp.To Rainy Jct is a 5.8-mile out-and-back hike in the Happy Camp Ranger District of Klamath National Forest in northern California, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated moderate, with a one-way climb of about 605 feet from a low point of 2,158 feet to a high of 2,747 feet. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Yreka weather station show May highs around 74°F and October highs around 70°F, while July and August average in the low 90s. Elk Creek, a canoeing spot, lies about 1.2 miles away. Granite Creek and Rainy Lake, both hikes, are each about 2.3 miles off. Curly Jack Campground is roughly 9.5 miles away.
