Granite Creek is a hard hike in the Happy Camp Ranger District of Klamath National Forest in northern California. The trail runs out and back, with a total length of about 11 miles and a one-way climb of roughly 2,300 feet, taking you from a low of about 2,600 feet to a high of nearly 4,800 feet. The Forest Service manages the land. Rainy Lake sits just 0.1 mile away, so it makes an easy add-on. Bear Creek Trail and Bear Creek Trail/Kelsey NRT are both within about 2 miles. For paddling, Elk Creek is about 1.4 miles off.
