East Fork Lake is a hard hike in the Trinity Alps Wilderness, part of the Big Bar Ranger District of Shasta-Trinity National Forest in northern California. The trail is about 6.7 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 1,786 feet, and it starts near the town of Dedrick, about a mile away. The route is an out-and-back that climbs from a low point of about 4,375 feet to a high of about 5,883 feet. The trail surface is natural, and horses are allowed. Bikes are not. The Ralson Trail lies just 0.1 mile away, and the East Fork Lake Trail is about half a mile off. For an overnight base, Ripstein Campground and the Canyon Creek paddling route are both about 1.4 miles away.
