Crown Valley is a moderate out-and-back hike in California's John Muir Wilderness, within the High Sierra Ranger District of the Sierra National Forest. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail's natural surface carries horses. The route is not accessible. The hike is about 3.3 miles long, with a one-way climb of roughly 600 feet from a low point of about 9,620 feet to a high of about 10,237 feet. Nearby, the Woodchuck Trail and Halfmoon Cutoff are each about 1.7 miles away, and the Woodchuck Lake Loop is about 1.9 miles off. Paddlers can head to the North Fork Kings River, roughly 4.9 miles away.
