Cabin is a 6-mile out-and-back hike in the John Muir Wilderness, part of the High Sierra Ranger District of Sierra National Forest in California. The trail climbs from about 8,476 feet to 9,066 feet, a gain of 705 feet, and is rated hard. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is natural-surfaced, with horses allowed and bikes not. The trip is open year-round, and the trail is not accessible. Marsh Lake and the North Fork Kings River, a canoeing route, both lie about a mile away. Hoffman Mountain is roughly 2 miles off, and Sawmill Flat campground is about 6.6 miles away.
