Bitter Creek is a hard hike in the Kern River Ranger District of Sequoia National Forest in California, about 8.4 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 1,477 feet. The trail is managed by the Forest Service and is an out-and-back route that starts at about 6,086 feet and climbs to about 7,484 feet. The trail is natural-surface and allows both horses and bikes. It is not an accessible trail. The South Fork Kern River, a canoeing route, lies about 0.6 miles away. The Fish and Troy Connector Trail and Jackass Creek are both within about 1.5 miles. Fish Creek campground is about 1.6 miles off.
