Beebe Lake is an easy out-and-back hike on natural trail in the Amador Ranger District of Eldorado National Forest in California, about 2.2 miles long with a total climb of 356 feet from the low point at 8,425 feet to the high at 8,785 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open year round. Horses are allowed, and bikes are not. That makes the route a good fit for riding in or on foot, with a natural surface and a short, gentle rise. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Dagget Pass weather station show July highs around 75°F and lows near 49°F, with only about one or two wet days a month. That station sits roughly 1,450 feet below the trail, so temperatures on the hike run cooler. Pardoes 4Wd Trail lies about half a mile away, and Munson Meadow Trail is within a mile. Summit City Creek offers canoeing about 3.7 miles out, and Silver Lake Campground is about 4.2 miles away.
