Tillie Creek #3 is a group campground in the Kern River Ranger District of Sequoia National Forest, about 2 miles from Lake Isabella, California. The Forest Service manages the land, and the site is part of the Tillie Creek Group, which includes Tillie Creek #1 and Tillie Creek #2, both about 0.1 mile away. The campground has picnic tables, fire rings, a playground, water and bathrooms. It can accommodate groups of 1 to 150 people. All developed areas on the Forest operate under a concessionaire permit, and a fee is charged. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 80°F and October highs around 81°F, while July and August average near 99°F. Lake Isabella is about 2 miles away, and the Isabella Peak Lookout hike is about 2.2 miles off.
