Kangaroo is a Forest Service campground in the Scott River Ranger District of Klamath National Forest in northern California. The land is managed by the Forest Service, and the site is set up for a simple overnight stay rather than a full-service experience. Vault toilets are the only facility on site, and a fee is charged for use. The campground sits close to two short hikes: Kangaroo Lake is about 0.3 miles away and the Fen Nature Trail (Sisson) is about 0.4 miles away, so it works well as a base for a day on foot. Climbers can find 45 Wall and Lover's Leap (Limestone) about 3.6 miles off, and paddlers can reach the East Fork Scott River, roughly 4.1 miles away. For another night in the area, Scott Mountain campground is about 5.3 miles away.
