Sex Boulder Bouldering is a bouldering area in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest, within the Forest Service's Buffalo Ranger District in Arkansas. It sits among several named boulders and walls, including The Sex Boulder and Invasion Wall, each about 0.1 mile away, and Land of the Little People about 0.2 mile off. The climbing here is all bouldering, with routes ranging from V3 to V10, so plan on a day focused on short, crag-style problems rather than long climbs. The most comfortable time to visit is spring or fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Deer, Arkansas, show May highs around 70°F and October highs around 65°F, with summer highs climbing into the low 80s. That station sits about 428 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the crag run cooler. The routes include Turd Patsy at V3 and Pro Ho at V5, with Ab Lounge Direct at V10 as the hardest. For a change of pace, the Sam's Throne hike is about 4.5 miles away, and the Buffalo River offers paddling about 4.9 miles off.
