The Point Boulders is a bouldering area in Arkansas's Ozark-St. Francis National Forest, within the Buffalo Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the climbing is all boulder-style. The boulders sit among several other climbing areas and hikes, so it's easy to string together a day of rock and trail close by. The boulders are part of a cluster of climbing and hiking destinations. Chickenhead Wall, The Prow & Reality Wall and Sam's Throne are all within about a tenth of a mile. Dead Dog & Energamata Walls are about 0.2 miles away. For a change of pace, Catacombs is a hike just beyond. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons to visit. Typical averages from the Deer weather station, about 9 miles away, show May highs around 70°F and October highs near 65°F.
