Thaden is a short, flat loop about 0.36 miles long, set just 0.8 miles from Bentonville, Arkansas. The route sits at nearly the same elevation from start to finish, with a high point of 1292 feet and a low of 1288 feet, and it has no real climb to speak of. It's an easy walk that you can fit into a quick stop in town. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show October highs around 71°F with lows near 46°F, and April is similar at about 69°F by day and 44°F at night. Midsummer runs hotter, with July and August highs near 90°F. The loop works well as a pairing with other trails close by. Rob's Trail West is about 0.6 miles away, Rob's Trail East is about 0.8 miles off, and the All-American hike is about a mile out. For an overnight stay, Coler Grove Camper Parking is about 2.4 miles from the route.
