North Sylamore Creek Trail is a 46.5-mile out-and-back hike on the Sylamore Ranger District of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Arkansas. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail rises to a high point of about 1,000 feet from a starting elevation of about 340 feet, with a total gain of about 5,600 feet over the course of the trip. The route has a steady climb, and the steepest stretch comes at about 9.7 miles, where the grade reaches about 18%. The trail is rated hard. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Mtn View show April highs around 71°F and October highs around 73°F, while July and August average about 91°F. The trail is a natural-surface route, and the Forest Service lists it as not accessible. Bikes and horses are not allowed. Blanchard Springs Campgrounds and Blanchard Springs Recreation Area are both about 3.6 miles away. North Sylamore Creek, a paddling route, is about 5.3 miles off, and Syllamo Bike Trail-Bald Scrapp is about 1.5 miles away.
