Beech Valley Trail North is a short, easy out-and-back hike in Village Creek State Park in Arkansas, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is about 1.2 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 65 feet, and it reaches a high point of 444 feet. The route is nearly flat, with the steepest stretch at about 0.09 miles in, where the grade reaches 2 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Wynne show October highs around 76°F with lows near 52°F, and April highs around 73°F. Summer highs there typically reach the low 90s. The hike takes about half an hour. The trail starts within the park, and several other routes lie close by.
