Usery Mountain Regional Park

Usery Mountain Regional Park is a park in Arizona, about 3 miles from the community of Desert Vista Estates III. Several named hiking trails start within a short walk of the park, which makes it an easy base for desert walking close to town. Typical averages from the E Mesa weather station, about 3.6 miles away, favor the cooler half of the year. Highs run in the upper 60s to low 70s from December through February, with lows around 40 to 43 degrees. March and November both average highs near 77, and April climbs to about 85. Summer is harsh. June through August typically top 104 to 106 degrees, and lows in July and August stay near 78 to 79. September still averages about 100, and October eases to around 90. Rain is infrequent. Most months see only one to five wet days, and the most come in August and in the winter months. Chain Fruit Trail lies about 0.1 mile away, and Vista Trail and Merkle Trail are each roughly 0.3 mile off. Climbers can head to Greevers' Needle, about 4 miles away.
