Tralfamadore Wall is a climbing area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in northern Arizona. The land is managed by the Forest Service, and the wall sits within the cluster of climbing spots on the north side of the district. Two other climbing areas, North Side and People's Court, lie just 0.1 mile away, so the whole group makes an easy grouping for a day of trad climbing. The routes here are all traditional, and they range from about 5.8+ up to 5.10c. The most straightforward of them is Beautiful Day, a 5.8+ first climbed in the early '70s by Geoff Parker and Scott Baxter. Rock Quarriers Way and Tralfamadore, at 5.9- and 5.9+, are also good choices for a route that doesn't push too hard. The hardest is Hop Knot, a 5.10c climbed by Robbie Brown and Dylan Leppert. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Bellemont put May highs around 68°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August run hotter and wetter. Nearby, Kelsey Spring #3 and Little Lo are hiking options about 3 miles off. Sycamore Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 4 miles away, and White Horse Lake Campground is roughly 5 miles away for an overnight stay.
