Canary Wall is a climbing area in the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness, part of the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits within designated wilderness. The climbing here is all trad, with six routes ranging from 5.8 to 5.10. Canary Crack is the hardest at 5.10, and Red's Crack and Birds of a Feather are among the older routes, with first ascents from the Flagstaff Oldschool era of the 1970s. South Side and Pillar Wall are both climbing areas about 0.1 mile away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 68°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 12 and 13 a month. The station sits about 600 feet below the wall, so temperatures on the rock run a little cooler. Nearby, Kelsey Spring #3 and Little Lo are hikes about 3 miles off, Sycamore Creek offers canoeing about 4 miles away, and White Horse Lake Campground is about 4.7 miles from the wall.
