Temples is a climbing area in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, managed by the National Park Service. It sits within the park's land, and a fee is charged for access. The climbing here is all traditional, with five routes ranging from 5.0 to 5.11+. North Face is the easiest at 5.0, and Screaming Sky Crack and SE Face are the hardest, at 5.11- and 5.11+. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 70°F and October highs around 65°F, while July highs reach about 85°F and winter lows drop to the teens. Nearby, Crystal Creek Route is about 2.5 miles away and Clear Creek Trail about 3.7 miles. Phantom Ranch Area is about 4 miles off, and North Rim Campground (AZ) is about 6.5 miles away.
