Stewart Peak is a climbing area in Arizona's Tonto National Forest, within the Payson Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land. The peak sits among several other climbing areas, including Stewart Pocket, about 0.1 mile away, and The Altar, about 0.2 mile away. West Point is about 0.3 mile off, so the surrounding area offers a cluster of options for climbers. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the Payson weather station, about 4.5 miles away, show October highs around 76°F and lows near 41°F, while July highs average about 93°F. The area has 20 routes, with 13 in trad and 6 in sport. Grades range from 5.3 up to 5.11-.
