Phoenix Areas is a climbing area in Arizona, sitting about a tenth of a mile from the community of Rose Garden Place. It is a compact cluster of boulders and roped routes, with a mix of trad, sport and bouldering styles, and it makes an easy pairing with other outings in the surrounding area. The most comfortable months for a visit are the cooler ones, when typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 65°F in January to about 75°F in March. Summer is hot, with typical highs near 100°F from June through August. The area has 21 routes in total, with grades ranging from 5.4 to 5.11c on the YDS scale and V0 to V1 on the V scale. Among the named routes are Library Card (5.4 trad), Choss Toss (5.6 sport) and Nug Dunk (5.11c sport). The Beardsley Boulders Area and Monkey Lust Boulder are both about 4.4 miles away.
