North Side is a Forest Service climbing area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona. The land is managed by the Forest Service, and the area sits among several named climbing spots, with Tralfamadore Wall and People's Court both about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all trad, with seven routes spread across a range from 5.9- to 5.12-. The easiest is Gray Corner at 5.9-, and the hardest is Highboy at 5.12-. Ratrastard and Blind Date are both 5.10- grades, and the first ascent of Ratrastard is credited to Paul Rauss. For the most comfortable conditions, late spring and early fall stand out. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bellemont run to highs of about 68°F in May and 74°F in September, with midsummer bringing the most wet days. The station sits roughly 550 feet below the area, so temperatures on the rocks may run a little cooler. Nearby, Kelsey Spring #3 is a hike about 3.2 miles away, and Sycamore Creek offers canoeing at about 4.1 miles. White Horse Lake Campground is about 4.7 miles off, and JD Dam is roughly 6.4 miles away for lake fishing.
