Lower Pumphouse Wash is a climbing area in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in northern Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and riding spots in the Oak Creek Canyon area, about a mile from Pine Flat Campground. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Oak Creek Canyon show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 74°F, while July and August average about 90°F. Switchbacks Overlook is just 0.2 miles away, and Overlook, The and Oak Creek Vista are each about 0.3 miles off. Pine Flat Campground is about a mile away for an overnight base.
