The Outpatient Clinic is a climbing area in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of named climbing areas, with Cave Springs, The Doctor's Office and The Reception Area all about 0.1 mile away. The Harding Springs Trail #51 lies about 0.2 mile off, and Cave Spring campground is about 0.3 mile away. The area is a mix of sport and trad routes, with a few mixed climbs. There are nine routes in total, and the grades run from 5.10- up to 5.12c. The hardest of them, Deviated Septum and The Night Nurse, are both 5.12c sport routes. Synethesia, a 5.12+ trad route, is another of the more challenging options. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Oak Creek Canyon weather station, which sits about 500 feet lower than the clinic, show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 74°F, while July averages about 90°F.
