High Rappel Area is a climbing area in Arizona, about half a mile from the town of Granite Dells. It sits right next to two other climbing areas, Corridor and Main Wall Right, both about 0.1 mile away, which makes it easy to pair with those routes on a single visit. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Prescott weather station show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 73°F, while July and August average about 90°F with more wet days. For a walk, Gateway Trail and Watson Dam Trail are both about half a mile away. Farther out, Lynx Campground and Yavapai Campground are within about 7 miles.
