Hairpin Boulders is a climbing area in the Pusch Ridge Wilderness, part of the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land, and the boulders sit within the designated wilderness. The area is all about bouldering, with 26 boulder problems among its 28 routes. Grades range from V0- to V11 on the V scale, and the area also holds two sport routes. Some of the boulders' names include Slopers, Wet n Wild and Brimming with Black Cats, a V11. The weather station at Saguaro National Park, about 9 miles away, sits at nearly the same elevation as the boulders, so its typical averages are a fair guide. Several other climbing areas lie close by, including Left Hand Wall and Alcove, each about a tenth of a mile away. Gordon Hirabayashi Campground, about 2.3 miles off, is the nearest place to camp.
