Hairpin Turn Area is a climbing area in Arizona's Pusch Ridge Wilderness, within the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits inside designated wilderness. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show March highs around 74°F and October highs around 86°F, while June and July average highs near 100°F. The area has nine routes, with six sport routes and three boulders. Grades run from 5.7+ to 5.12a on the YDS scale and from V7 to V11-12 on the V scale. Among the sport routes are No Slack at GAC at 5.7+ and Phone a Friend at 5.12a. Right Hand Wall & Hairpin and Alcove are both about 0.1 mile away. Gordon Hirabayashi Campground is about 2.2 miles off, and Molino Basin Group is about 3 miles away.
