The Flagstaff Area climbing area sits within the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It is a small, single-route area, with one trad climb, Sunday Morning, rated at 5.9 on the YDS scale. The route was first climbed by Colton Nunley and Nick Zachary. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Walnut Canyon show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 67°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 10 to 13 a month. Walnut Canyon and Fisher Point Trail both lie about 0.1 mile away. The Oven and Way Gone Wall are climbing areas about 1.6 miles off.
