First Canyon, also known as The Boneyard, is a climbing area in Arizona, about 1.3 miles from the town of Granite Dells. It sits close to several other outdoor spots, so it works well as a stop on a day spent exploring the surrounding trails and climbing. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Prescott weather station show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 73°F, while July and August average about 90°F with more wet days. Captain's Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and Big Rock Canyon is about 0.3 mile off. Pavilion Wall and Watson Lake, both climbing areas, are each about half a mile away.
