Beardsley Bouldering is a bouldering area in Arizona, set within the Union Hills on city land. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with the Beardsley Roped Routes and the Warm Up Boulder just 0.1 mile away. The area is a compact, close-together collection of boulders, and the routes here are all bouldering problems rather than roped climbs. The climbing is rated from V0- up to V8, with the majority of the 28 routes falling in the V0 to V1 range. Among the named problems are Hand Jive at V0- and Oliver at V8, the latter a first ascent by Ryan Christianson. The boulders are close together, so it's easy to move from one to another in a single session. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show March highs around 75°F and October highs around 86°F, while June and July average in the low to mid 100s. For a change from the rocks, the Great Horned Owl Trail and the Union Peak Trail are both about 4 miles away.
