The Left Wall is a climbing area in Arizona's Coconino National Forest, within the Red Rock Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land. The area sits among several other climbing features, with The Main Amphitheater-Fall Wall, The Right Wall and The Double Clutching Wall all about 0.1 mile away. That makes the Left Wall an easy addition to a day spent exploring the cluster. The climbing is trad, with a single sport route, and the grade range runs from 5.10b to 5.13d. A few of the more notable routes include Flashflood at 5.10b, Mental Health at 5.10+, and Orphan Blood Cocktail at 5.13d, the hardest climb listed here. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Oak Creek Canyon show October highs around 74°F with lows near 44°F, and April is similar at about 70°F by day. That station sits roughly 500 feet lower than the Left Wall, so temperatures here run a little cooler.
