Sawmill Connector Trail is an 8.7-mile out-and-back hike in the Lakeside Ranger District of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in eastern Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises about 22 feet from its low point at 6,804 feet to a high of 6,921 feet, and it is rated moderate. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Show Low show May highs around 74°F and October highs around 68°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 12 to 14 a month. Several other trails sit within a couple of miles, including Porter Mountain Scenic Vista at 1.2 miles and Flume Connector Trail at 1.4 miles. Scott Reservoir campground is about 2.4 miles away, and Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area Campground is roughly 6.6 miles off.
