Priest Draw is an easy, 3-mile out-and-back hike in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest, about 3 miles from Flagstaff. The trail runs between about 6,839 and 6,884 feet, so the climb is minimal, with only about 39 feet of elevation gain on the way up. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Flagstaff run from highs around 68°F in May to 74°F in September, with June and July the warmest months at about 79°F to 82°F. The trail sits right next to two climbing areas, Black Roof and Puzzle Box, each about 0.1 mile away. Canyon Vista and Sandys Canyon are both roughly 3 miles off.
